The Beach!

Take a seat and let the kids play on our giant sandbox that we call The Beach! 

Giant Sandcastle Build!

Watch the fun, as professional sand sculptor Janet Moore Schrader, builds a giant medieval sandcastle!

The castle will be designed for audience participation, so just ask Janet how you can help!

When completed, the sculpture will become a photo opportunity to pose in, so don't forget your cameras.

Stand Up Board Building Demonstration

Witness the building of a SUP (Stand Up Board) before your eyes! Dreamcatcher Boats will be assembling one of their unique, ultra light, safe, affordable and versatile boats right in their booth (#1216) at the show.

Antique & Classic Boat Display

The Antique & Classic Boat Society is bringing in some beautifully restored antique boats for display!

Log & Timber Frame Showcase

The Log and Timber Frame Showcase highlights different floor plans, profiles, roof options, log species and packages from several companies. One specializes in post and beam cedar home packages from cedar siding to full logs. Another with a small log home display will show how a cabin is put together. In addition are do-it-yourself or contractor built timber frame or cedar homes.

Cottage Living Center

Work on the community puzzle, pin your cottage on a map, pick up a shirt or mug from the show, or a book from Horizon Books in Traverse City, or just RELAX!  Horizon has once again put together a great list of books that are perfect for reading this summer at the cottage.
